Woman of God

,
Hey Ya'll! How's your Saturday been? I personally went to church today as they were holding a mothers day brunch there, and it was nice, with plenty of delicious food :)

The word that was shared during the brunch regarded the woman described in Proverbs 31:10-31. She is basically the perfect woman.

Although one may not to be able to live up to all her fine qualities (encouraging wife, entrepreneur, excellent cook, fitness queen, DIY goddess, feeds the hungry, clothing designer, to name a few), the most important one that stands out is her love for God. "... a woman who honors the Lord deserves to be praised" (Prov 31:30, Contemporary English Version).

In our efforts and aspirations to be and do more, at the center of it all should be our relationship with God. Matt 6:33 says to seek the kingdom of God first and all the rest will be added to us. All the things that we want to accomplish are pointless if at the end of the day, our hearts don't live to worship our God.

If at all you feel or find that your relationship with God has suffered, or perhaps you never had a relationship to begin with. I encourage you to mend, strengthen or begin your relationship with Him. It will give you peace, a peace that surpasses all understanding (Phil 4:7) as you take on your world, aspiring to live a happier, more meaningful life.

I'd also encourage you to read Proverbs 31:10-31 and let me know what your take on it is.

Bless and Love Y'all!

Stay Pretty & Precious,
Peace
