You Are What You Think

,
Heard of the saying "You are What you Eat"? Well as much as that is true so is the fact that you are what you think. How you see yourself will ultimately be how other people see you. A positive self image is key to you fulfilling your full potential in pursuing your dreams. If you don't believe in you, why should anyone else?

So how do you go about changing your self image? Focus on your positive traits. If you think your thighs are too big, but you love your hair, then focus on the fact that you have lovely hair. By "zooming" in on what you love about yourself, your self-love will grow. Appreciating and loving one aspect of yourself will ultimately lead to you appreciating other parts of you because you accept yourself for who you are and the potential you hold.

The same applies to other areas of your life. If you see yourself as a makeup artist, a lawyer, a journalist, and truly believe that that is your purpose; then that is your God-given potential to achieve. Only you yourself can stand in your way from achieving that goal, that dream.

"As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he"
(Prov. 23:7)

Stay Blessed!
