Trust Him

Hey ladies! Hope everyone's fantastic. We're in the midst of a serious heatwave here in Toronto. With the humidity, it's close to 40 celsius. Not sure what that is in Fahrenheit, but close to a 100 I think. (I know I could have google convert for me, lol). 

Anyways, life pushes on as usual. Despite all the headlines, the world is still spinning.  It's so easy to get caught up and consumed by all the media hype and drama. The bad thing in that is that the media determines what your focus should be based on what they [the media] choose to ficus. 

Never loose focus of the only one that truly matters, our Lord and Saviour. Make Him your focus and your world shines a little brighter. This life is hard enough as it is, why not have the Almighty in your corner, fighting your battles.

How you ask? By letting go. The meaning behind the saying "Let go and let God" implies just that. You're no longer in possession of the matter. And more importantly, it's not possessing you. It's not keeping you up at night, it's not giving you anxiety attacks, it's not causing strife, anger or hate. Yes we all get frustrated and sad from time to time, but your ability to smile the next day is a testament to the fact that you trust God to see through. That's all it is, trusting God.

The bible says "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding" (Prov 3:5).  It' doesn't matter what the situation looks like, if God brought you to it, He'll see you through it. Key word, through it. There's no detour, instead you've got to "walk through the fire". And when you come out on the other side, you'll be stronger, tougher, and more resilient. You can do it! Be strong.
