Ask, Believe, Receive

Hey guys! Hope you all had a wonderful day. Earlier today I posted about a guest blog spot I had the pleasure of writing on Blogs By Christian Women. If you haven't had the chance to check it please do by clicking right here. 

Other than that today's been a pretty good day. It's my sons birthday tomorrow and I just finished wrapping his gift which I know he's looking forward to opening tomorrow morning. It feels good being able to get your kids things you know they'll love, and I'm especially grateful considering I'm currently not working. God sure is good :)

Think of how we want the best for our children, surely God wants even better for us. Matthew 7:11 speaks of how we being evil, know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more won't our Father in heaven give good to those who ask Him. 

That's all you've got to do, ask. Not because He doesn't know or see your need, but because asking is an act of faith. Mark 11:24 tells us to believe as we ask and we'll receive it. Bible also says that without faith it's impossible to please God (Heb 11:6). I encourage you all today to ask God for whatever it is your heart desires. Although God's not a genie, He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him (Heb 11:6).

Today's Take Away Thought: Ask what you will from our heavenly Father; Believe that He's a rewarder of those that diligently seek Him, and receive all the best that He has in store for you :)
